The methodology is the same: risk assessment to ISO 12100, then Essential Health and Safety Requirements, then any applicable specialist standards, then a Technical File and Declaration. The suite tracks the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and its successor Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 (applicable from January 2027, including 1.1.9/1.2.1 cyber-safety, covered by the Cybersecurity tool), alongside the UK Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 (SI 2008/1597). CRA screening (Regulation (EU) 2024/2847) is referral-only. Differences in declarations, authorised representatives and marking are handled in the planned Technical File builder.
